Kimberly-Clark Makes Huge Donation

What Do Babies Always Need? You guessed it: diapers, diapers and more diapers! Thanks to our friends at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, the Alcove received a generous donation of diapers for the third time! In August, 1,988 cases totaling 228,114 diapers of all sizes were delivered. This highly coveted donation means a substantial savings to the Alcove’s diaper budget. During these tough economic times, everyone has had to cut back and find ways to save money wherever possible.

But no matter what, diapers remain a necessity at the Alcove. Approximately 70 infants and toddlers require multiple diaper changes throughout the day totaling about 1,700 diapers per week. Once again, we wish to express our thanks and appreciation to Tom Falk, Chairman and CEO of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Jenny Lewis, Vice President Kimberly-Clark Foundation, and Amy Milton for their continued support of homeless children in our community.
